The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team in Cascais. This is a support function focused on process organization and certification maintenance within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment. We operate under an "owner-led" culture where agility, high standards, and a "get-it-done" mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance & Sampling: manage retention samples, implement quality rating systems, and ensure rigorous quality assurance for all shipments to clients and prospects.
- Documentary Control & Certifications: curate and maintain all technical documentation required for European compliance and international certifications.
- Supplier Qualification Support: assist in the mapping and technical qualification of new suppliers to ensure alignment with our quality benchmarks.
- SOP Development & Automation: partner in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Operational Support: coordinate with third-party laboratories for testing and manage audit-related administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to methodical documentation.
- Tech-savvy profile with an interest in AI-integrated workflows and process automation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication in English and Portuguese.
- Strong analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail (nothing gets past you).
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; familiarity with ERP systems (Odoo) or project management tools (Asana) is an advantage.
- Proactive, “can-do” attitude with a genuine passion for food safety and sustainability.

- Ability to work full-time (Mon-Fri) on-site in Cascais.
Nice to have
- Previous experience navigating the dynamics, regulations, and logistics partners of the Brazilian market is a strong plus.
