🚀 The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our commercial team at our Cascais office. In this role, you will be at the frontline of our global growth, identifying new business opportunities, prospecting potential B2B clients, and qualifying leads for the senior commercial team.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting: Identify and research potential B2B clients (food manufacturers, ingredient distributors, and health/cosmetics brands) across international markets, with a strong focus on Europe.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Execute cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to engage decision-makers and build a strong pipeline of prospective buyers.
- Lead Qualification: Conduct initial discovery conversations/calls to qualify prospects based on their needs, budget, and strategic fit.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate lead records, activity logs, and pipeline tracking in Odoo and Asana.
- Meeting Scheduling: Book qualified meetings and product presentations for Senior Sales Executives/Managers.
- Market Research: Monitor industry trends, map key market players, and gather competitive intelligence to support sales strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align lead generation efforts and ensure smooth customer onboarding.
✅ Must-Have Profile
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, Agronomy, Food Engineering, or a related field.
- Growth Mindset & Energy: Highly motivated, resilient, and eager to learn in a fast-growing scale-up environment.
- Outbound Sales Drive: Comfortable making cold calls, reaching out to decision-makers, and handling initial objections. Closer mindset.
- Data & Process Discipline: Organized and disciplined in CRM usage, daily reporting, and tracking metrics/KPIs.
- Advanced/Fluent English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required for daily international client interactions.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Confident communicator with good active listening and relationship-building skills.
⭐ Nice-to-Have
- 6 months to 2 years of initial experience in B2B sales, telesales, or customer-facing roles (internships included).
- Interest or basic understanding of the food ingredients, organic products, or agro-industry sectors.
- Previous exposure to CRMs or project management tools (e.g., Odoo, Asana, HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese.
