Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage our recruitment pipeline, employee lifecycle processes, and HR operations. In this role, you will be the key link between our management, employees, and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a strong recruitment pipeline, ensuring a continuous flow of top talent.
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Organize and participate in recruitment events, such as university roadshows and career fairs.
- Keep job boards and job advertisements up to date, ensuring effective employer branding.
- Actively headhunt and network to attract top talent.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
- Prepare employment offers, contracts, and related documentation.
- Track employee entrances, exits, and holidays, maintaining accurate records.
- Organize and facilitate employee feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including registering and deregistering employees with Social Security.
- Coordinate with Health & Safety providers to maintain a secure and compliant office environment, while also managing employee registration for occupational health compliance.
- Manage Erasmus+ internship files and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
- Act as the point of contact for interns, ensuring a structured and beneficial experience.
- Support the management team in HR-related decision-making and strategic planning.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and best practices.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Portuguese labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment, including active sourcing and employer branding.
- Familiarity with payroll processes and social security requirements.
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software (experience with Odoo is a plus).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
